What is Expansion?
Expansion isn't about covering the day-to-day operational costs. It's about generational impact. It's about people. People like you who carry the vision, and the people we have been entrusted to reach. Together, we’re believing to see our generation impacted and changed with the reality of Jesus.
Proverbs 11:24-25 tells us that "the world of the generous gets larger and larger". The generous don't just have more to give – they become more. Generosity is a force that expands the borders of our own lives, enlarges our capacity to love, and increases our ability to bless and influence others. And in the year of Presenced, we know that we carry the presence of God into the world around us.
Together, we carry the vision of Expansion. Together, we advance His Kingdom. And together, we’ll see our generation impacted and changed by the reality of Jesus.
Our Heart for Expansion
"Generosity is at the heart of who we are as Christ-followers – it reflects God’s nature in us. As we give of ourselves, we become more like Jesus, whose boundless generosity changed the world.
As we live ‘Presenced’ this year, we’re reminded that His generosity allows us to expand God’s presence around us and advances His Kingdom here on earth.
Expansion is one of the ways we, as His Church, live out that generosity. It’s the tangible way we extend our reach, share God’s love, and create space for more people to encounter Jesus.
Our vision for Expansion is never ending because it has always been about people – meeting needs, giving hope, and creating pathways for people to discover the love, healing, and purpose found in Jesus.
As you hear more about this vision, we invite you to join with us and prayerfully consider the part you will play.

Through Expansion, we:
Reach over 250,000 people each year through LIFE Community.
Have impacted over 1,400,000 people through Christmas Box since it was established in 2001.
Serve over 220,000 meals each year through LIFE Community Kitchens and our school lunch programmes.

A New Home for LIFE West
We're excited to be constructing a permanent foundation in West Auckland that will have lasting impact on future generations. We are committed to creating a space that not only meets the needs of our growing West Campus today, but also lays the groundwork for more people to make LIFE West home in the years to come.
Making Room for More at LIFE North
We're extending the tent pegs of our LIFE North Campus, by adding to the size of the foyer, adding a permanent stage and increasing the capacity of the auditorium, expanding the kids and youth spaces, and adding a new cafe and commercial kitchen to enhance our ability to look after and welcome everyone into our LIFE North family.
Expansion Offering
Our Expansion Team is made up of Expansion Partners and Builders who are all playing their part to sow seed for generational impact. An Expansion Partner is anyone who has committed towards our Expansion offering. An Expansion Builder is someone with the gift of giving, who is committed to advancing LIFE’s God-given vision through giving significantly over and above tithes.
We're believing for 2,000 Expansion Partners and Builders to give a total of $6 million towards the growth of our Church, Community and Kingdom impact over the next 12 months.
